Tails OS is a portable, Debian-based live operating system designed to protect your privacy and anonymity by routing all internet traffic through the Tor network and leaving no digital trace on the host computer.
Tails OS runs entirely in your computer’s RAM. When you shut down or reboot your computer It wipes all session activity and data automatically. You can save your files/items to an encrypted persistent storage partition.
All network connections are routed through the Tor Project network. Tails OS boots directly from removable USB drives on almost any 64-bit x86-64 computer, making an untrusted or shared machine into a secure workspace.
